Tamera Cramer

Long time CSE staff member, Tamera Annette Cramer, passed away unexpectedly on September 18, 2021.

Since 1998, Tamera has worked at The Ohio State University in the Computer Science and Engineering department, most recently as an Office Associate and Building Coordinator.  This department has lovingly referred to her as the “Director of First Impressions.”

Tamera had many interests including board games, fiction writing, music, theatre, dancing, traveling, politics, history and books of all kinds.  She was an advocate and activist for social justice.  She loved animals almost as much as people and her friends’ and family’s children as her own.  Because of her outgoing nature and lively personality, she had many friends and acquaintances around the world.

Through the generosity of our department members, CSE has set up a named fund through the OSU Foundation, the "Tamera Cramer Student Support Fund," which honors her commitment to our students. If you would like to contribute to this fund click here

Fund Number 317430 - The Tamera Cramer Student Support Fund: This fund will be used at the discretion of the Chair of the Computer Science and Engineering Department to support student wellbeing and morale through department sponsored activities.
