NOTE: All CSE advisors are working regular business hours from home with some exceptions for the holiday break. You are encouraged to contact your assigned advisor via e-mail with quick questions or concerns regarding your academic plan or other scheduling issues. You can also make a Zoom appointment through OnCourse or utilize Virtual Drop-ins (see below for more information).

​***How to Schedule an Appointment***

Appointments are available for CSE/CIS majors and pre-CSE students only. These are 30-minute meetings that are appropriate for anything requiring long-term planning (such as graduation plans, financial aid appeals, reinstatement petitions, ROTC forms, etc.) and concerns about academic progress. Please prepare in advance for your appointment as much as possible (run a degree audit, have your schedule projection draft, etc.) and be prepared to take notes.

**Virtual Drop-ins**

Virtual Drop-ins through Zoom are available throughout the semester. This type of advising is specifically designed for questions needing 10 minutes or less. A webcam is not required. All times are Eastern Standard Time. Click here for instructions.

Reminder: You do not sign up in advance for drop-ins. Just check in during the listed hours. E-mail ugadvising@cse.ohio-state.edu if you have trouble checking in. You may have a longer than usual wait time during scheduling season.

Monday and Thursday - 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Tuesday and Friday - 2:00-4:00 p.m.
