Stu Zweben

Hi! I'm Stu Zweben.

I'm Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. I chaired this department from 1994-2005. I also serve as Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Administration in the College of Engineering at Ohio State. I am a fellow and former president of ACM (The Association for Computing Machinery), a fellow and former president of The Computing Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB), and a fellow of ABET. I currently serve as Vice Chair of the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET and on the editorial board of the Empirical Software Engineering Journal. I also chair the Surveys Committee for the Computing Research Association which conducts the annual Taulbee Survey of Ph.D.-granting computer science and computer engineering departments in North America.

My research interests are in software engineering and computer science education. I have special interests in the testing of object-based software, and in doing empirical studies to assess the effectiveness of various software engineering principles and practices.
