I am an assistant professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ohio State University.
I did postdoctoral research at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Ravi Ramamoorthi and James F. O'Brien, from 2009 to 2011.
I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2009, under the guidance of Greg Turk.

My research area is in computer graphics. I am particularly interested in physically based simulation and the use of
real-world data in computer animation.
I am also interested in 4D spatio-temporal surface reconstruction, image processing, and image-based rendering.
