Sarah Waterson
Organization
Welcome to the Resolve/C++ tutorial! This walk-through is designed to orient
you to the Resolve/C++ environment within the XEmacs editor. You should
complete the tutorial on XEmacs before attempting this program. Although
this is no substitute for more detailed documentation, it will help you
on your way to working with, and even enjoying the environment.
How To Use This Document
You should be reading this document using a browser such as Netscape.
In addition, you will have XEmacs running so that you can try out the commands
given here. It is very important that you follow the instructions closely
and accurately. READ EVERYTHING! Additionally, you will occasionally
be asked to type some Unix commands in an xterm, so you should make certain
that you have an xterm window open as well.
A few icons are used to help you move easily throught this tutorial:

The keyboard icon indicates that input is expected from
you. Most of the time you will be asked to input something into the XEmacs
window, but pay attention to the instructions! Sometimes you will
be switching over to the xterm window for input. |

the CONTINUE links at the bottom of each page sequentially, as the
