Software Component Engineering With Resolve/C++

Textbooks for the Software Component Engineering course sequence are under development. The most recent version of one of them, Software Component Engineering With Resolve/C++, is printed by OSU Uniprint.

The on-line version of Volume 2: The Client's View (linked below) consists of a single PDF file of about 4 MB and 252 printed pages.  Volume 3: The Implementer's View (linked below) is about 770KB and 44 printed pages.  The on-line version is made available as a convenience -- consult it if you don't have your printed version handy and/or you need to find something and can't locate it using the table of contents. You can use the "Find" command and other tools in your favorite PDF reader to search the on-line version.

Please note that there are two basic restrictions on the use of the on-line version:

• You should not print it. If you need a printed version, get it from Uniprint.  If you print much of this document, then you'll simply use up your print quota for the quarter.  Recovering from this will end up costing you about 10 times as much as buying the document.
• You may not copy any part of it in any form whatsoever, except for your own personal use, without the express written consent of the author.
