High Priority (work hard this quarter; finish ASAP): - Establish a permanent course on professionalism/ethics, needed for program accreditation (Ken; CC person: Ken) - Change 101/211 and related courses (e.g., 201, 214), already underway in response to College of Business requests with pilot 294J for new course being taught this quarter (Doug; CC person: no one yet, so someone on CC needs to become familiar with this quickly!) Medium Priority (work this quarter as time permits; finish this year): - Change 221/222/321 and possibly 560/680, already underway with proposers planning for Fall 1996 pilot of new 221 and Winter 1997 full conversion of 221 (Tim; CC person: Bruce) - Change 677 and introduce new networking courses (Raj, Mike, Steve, Gojko; CC person: Kikuo) - Consider changes to operating systems courses and/or prerequisites (Anish; CC person: Anish) - Reconsider teaching load credit for CIS 360 (Jay, Judy; CC person: no one yet) Low Priority (work this quarter in background; try to do this year): - General clean-up in all official course descriptions, prerequisites, etc. (CC person: Sandy) Wait for Charge from Undergraduate Studies Committee: - Revisit role of 676 (Bill; CC person: Bill) - Create course number for senior honors thesis work (Neelam; CC person: Bill) Wait for Charge from Department Chair - Revisit CIS course numbering (especially 500 vs. 600)
