Curriculum Committee ("CC") Minutes for 9 May 1995

Attending:  Fujimura, Kerr, Ogden, Soundararajan, Weide, Yeack

* Recommendation to faculty on proposed CIS 230: Introduction to C++
  Programming (Neelam)
  
  The course was approved unanimously for recommendation to the faculty
  at the May 15 faculty meeting, following a long discussion.
      
* Discussion of proposed software spine changes (Bruce)
  
  There was not enough time to discuss this, but Bruce handed out a
  document detailing proposed topics for CIS 221 and proposed "learning
  outcomes".  This will be on the agenda for the next meeting.  Bruce
  promised to try to get similar material for proposed 222 to CC members
  by the end of this week.
