Welcome to
Tamera Cramer's
Personal Playground!

Basically I'm just a kid at heart.
And since the WW Web sometimes feels like a big global playground, I thought I'd go ahead and join in on the fun!

Who am I?
I am involved in the worlds of computers and education. I work for the Dept. of Computer & Information Science as the Public Relations Coordinator. You can learn more information about that aspect of my life through there at http://www.cse.ohio-state.edu/~tcramer/ . It's a great job and I'm not leaving this place until retirement. If they want me to leave before then, they'll have to carry me out kicking and screaming and may need a tranquilizer gun!

I am also an undergraduate student. My major is Communications major. My official status is senior but because of working two job, it will be sometime before I wear that cap and gown.

What are my interests?
Friends, family, writing, laughing, books, baseball (Let's Go Mets!), Harry Potter!!, books, history, movies, Bollywood films, good TV (I know it's rare, but I dream -- and frequently indulge in mindless brain candy), books, cooking, crossword puzzles, board games, books, mysteries, dogs, cats, wine, food, science fiction, coffee, tea, teapots, um, did I mention books?,....

What do I write?
I've written a couple of children's stories. In 1998, I submitted a children's story to Writer's Digest Annual National Writing Competition and placed #59. It's the story of how Humpty Dumpty came to be sitting on that infamous wall. You can read it in pdf format here. If you want to know what Humpty Dumpty really was, one of the more interesting pieces of information I've found thus far may be found at this site. There's also a fun little scramble (pardon the pun) puzzle where you can put him back together again. It's here.

I also have written an historical fiction story based around the Salem Witch Trials. It is still a work in progress.
