I have a love for both teaching and research. My research interests are in the areas of Computer Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and Database Systems.
I have published in the areas of scientific visualization (volume rendering, iso-surface rendering, large data visualization,
and GPU-based methods), medical visualization, image-based rendering, as well as volume and image segmentation.
I have taught extensively in most all areas of Computer Science at OSU (both the Main and Mansfield campuses) and Wittenberg University.

Elementary Numerical Methods - (CSE541) Grader: TBA Text: Numerical Mathematics and Computing, 6th Edition Survey of numerical methods: number systems, errors of finite representation, solution of single non-linear equation, interpolation, numerical integration, solution of linear systems.Computer Assisted Problem Solving for Business - (CSE200) Grader:TBA Text: TBA This course is an intensive introduction to problem solving using business applications software. The types of software applications that will be covered include communication, spreadsheets, databases, presentation graphics and web design. The students will learn the mechanics of these software tools as they apply them to real world problems such as budgets, customer databases etc. The overall objective of the course is to prepare students to be able to learn the features of business software tools and apply these tools in efficiently and effectively solving problems.Introduction to Analysis of Algorithms and Data Structures - (CSE680) Grader:TBA Text: Introduction to Algorithms, 3rd Edition, by Thomas H. Cormen, Charles E. Leiserson, Ronald L. Rivest, and Clifford Stein Performance analysis considerations in design of algorithms and data structures; asymptotic analysis, recurrence relations, probabilistic analysis, divide and conquer; searching, sorting, and graph processing algorithms.Internetworking - (CSE678) Grader:TBA Text: TBA High-speed local area networks, metropolitan area networks, bridges, routers, gateways, TCP/IP, application services, network management. |
