Midterm/Final Exam Schedule

The midterm is scheduled during regular class time on October 22.

The final exams for this class are scheduled as follows:

You must take the exams (midterm and final) during the time scheduled. No makeups will be given except with prior approval of the instructor. This approval will only be given in the most extreme of circumstances. Without prior instructor approval, you will receive a grade of zero on the exam. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

Grading

This section lists the grading schedule for the class, the items that will be graded, and the policies for grading lab assignments.

Laboratory assignments will be graded in at least the following areas:

A penalty of 10% will be assessed for each day a lab is late. The final lab may not be turned in late. Labs are due by midnight on the due date.

Any lab submitted containing syntax errors or producing garbage output (multiple copies of the same line, nonsense data, etc.) will receive an automatic grade of zero.

Your instructor may make minor changes to each lab assignment such as heading, files to be submitted for grading, etc. Be sure to check with the instructor if you were not in class when a lab was assigned.
