Hi there! I am Venu Satuluri, a Ph.D. student since Fall 2006 in Computer Science at Ohio State University. My research interests are primarily large-scale data mining and machine learning, with an emphasis on unsupervised learning tasks such as clustering, similarity search and so on. See the Research page for the papers I've written and associated software. My advisor is Dr. Srinivasan Parthasarathy, who leads the Data Mining Research Laboratory.
I am originally from Rajahmundry in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. I did most of my schooling in Rajahmundry, and my +2 in Vijayawada. I got my Undergraduate degree (B.Tech.) at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal or NITK for short. After that, I was for an year at D E Shaw India Software, Hyderabad, where I worked on in-house (internal) software for managing a large number of contacts.
