Hi there! I am Venu Satuluri, a Ph.D. student since Fall 2006 in Computer Science at Ohio State University. (And yes, that's me with that grin on the right.) My research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing. My advisor is Dr. Srinivasan Parthasarathy, who leads the Data Mining Research Laboratory.

I am originally from Rajahmundry in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. I did most of my schooling in Rajahmundry, and my +2 in Vijayawada. I got my Undergraduate degree (B.Tech.) at National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal or NITK for short. After that, I was for an year at D E Shaw India Software, Hyderabad, where I worked on in-house (internal) software for managing a large number of contacts.
