11. (5 pts) Write an Excel formula in cell H4, which can be copied down and across to cell I11, to determine the take home salary of working for longhorn for the summer. Take home salary is the original salary minus the tax amount, which is the percent of tax multiplied by the salary. The average tax amount for the given city/state is given in G4. We cannot answer any questions about the format of this cell; it is something you should know.
12. (5 pts) Write an Excel formula in cell J4, which can be copied down and across to cell K11, to determine which summer job has the highest take-home salary denoted by a 1 in column J, the second highest take-home salary as denoted by a 2 in column J, etc.
13. (4 pts) Write an Excel formula in cell E12, which can be copied across to cell I12, to determine the average summer salary for all of the jobs listed.
14. (5 pts) Write an Excel formula in cell A16, which can be copied across to cell B16, to determine the number of job opportunities on the list. NOTE: as you copy across, you should be able to determine the number of jobs that have benefits.
15. (5 pts) Write an Excel formula in cell D14, which can be copied down to cell D17, to determine the number of summer job opportunities per state (given each state in the range C14:C17).
16. (5 pts) Write an Excel formula in cell E14, which can be copied down to cell E17, to determine the percent of summer jobs on your list per state. NOTE: Remember, it is best to use already solved for data rather than rewriting formulas.
17. (4 pts) Explain why the values in E14:E17 do not look like they add up to 100%.
18. (5 pts) Given the values in G14:G16, write an Excel formula in cell H14, which can be copied down and across to cell I16, to determine the highest earning take-home salary.
