By when do you need your book materials?

Where do you find the course notes problems/solutions so you can work on them using Excel/Access?

You can find the files and the solutions on the CARMEN website part II.A. Links to Course Materials. Notice that there are TWO LINKS for each problem. One for the Excel/Access file so you can work through the problem; and a Word file with the solutions.

Where is the tutor room and when is it available?

DL176… updated schedule will not be available until 2^nd week of the quarter. Normal hours are M-R 11:30am-3:30pm and/or 11:30am-5:30pm, depending on the day. There are no Friday tutor hours. See the “Tutor Hours” link on Carmen section I. Course Information

Can I make an appointment with my instructor? TA? Lab consultant?

· Check your instructor’s main website for “Schedule (with office hours)” and click on the quarterly link below.

· You can email your TA, but office hours are designated thru the tutor room.

· You should not need to meet with your lab consultant. If you have any questions about lab, lecture or any of your grades, you should contact either your instructor or you lab TA.

Where do you get the pre-lab instructions?

The course notes book as well as online thru the CARMEN website (exception is lab1 but then it doesn’t have a pre-lab).

How do you turn in your labs?

Directions are given in your first lab handout about how to submit both your pre-lab and in-lab files. You will do this during your scheduled lab time only. Remember, lab1 has only an in-lab portion, and lab10 has only a pre-lab portion :o)

Where are the practice exams my instructor says are on her website?

From the main website, click on the Announcement button; scroll down, down , down until you get to the ANSWER POSTINGS section and enjoy ;o)

How/When do you turn in your homework?

You do not turn in homework ;o) It is listed on the syllabus so you know when to practice the lecture material information. There are no points associated with homework for this class.
