POCAT Results
Background:
The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs) and Student Outcomes (SOs)
for our BS-CSE program are available
here.
For convenience, we have classified the SOs into two groups.
The first group, the technical group, consists of
outcomes (a), (b), (c), (e), (f), (k), (l), (m), and (n). The second
group, the professional group consists of the remaining outcomes.
The Program Outcomes Achievement Test (POCAT) is the key
direct method that we use for assessing the extent to which students have
achieved the
outcomes in the technical group near the time of their graduation.
The full details of POCAT are available
here.
POCAT is offered each quarter. Summary results of POCAT, organized by
quarter, appear below.
The tests from various quarters and analysis/evaluation of the results are
available here (password protected).
