Grades: HW + project.
In this class we will discuss foundations of statistical pattern recognition. We will talk about the theoretical foundation of finding patterns based on statistical
principles and discuss various algorithms for classification, regression, clustering and dimensionality reduction. Every student will be expected to work on a
project. Collaboration on a project is allowed (and encouraged).
