Grades: 30% HW + 30% two half-class midterms + 40% final.

Midterm dates: Oct 20th, Nov 12th.

Final: In class, Dec 3.

Basic topics: The scientific problem of AI.
Basic representation techniques, problem solving by search.
Knowledge representation using logic.
Dealing with uncertainty: probabilistic inference and machine learning.
Planning and common sense reasoning.
