Visa Information
People of non-Chinese nationality need a Chinese Visa to
enter China.
You may need a letter of invitation from China. An invitation letter can be requested by filling
out this form and email it to Dr. Wenzhu Zhang
(wzzhang1@mail.xidian.edu.cn). Please
make your request no later than August 5, after
which we will not be able to honor your requests. (Note: Invitation letters are to be issued by
Xi’an Foreign Affairs Bureau, not by the conference organizers.)
U.S.
citizens should be aware that to obtain a visa they will need to determine
which Chinese embassy in the US
covers their geographic region. You can only apply to your assigned embassy. To
find your assigned embassy, please visit this page. http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/hzqz/t84229.htm.
If your assigned embassy is too far from your home for you
to visit in person, you can use a visa agency. There are many companies that
provide Chinese visa acquisition services. (A simple search with keywords
"china visa service" results in many such companies.) These services
are regionally-based so select one near you.
