Hi I'm Ashwin. I'm a Masters student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) at The Ohio State University, Columbus. I also hold a Graduate Research Associate position in the CSE department. I'm working on projects in the area of Parallel Computing, High Performance Computing and Compiler optimization techniques under the joint supervision of Dr. P. Sadayappan and Dr. Atanas Rountev.

I hold a Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India. I've worked as a Software Engineer in Motorola India Private Limited, Bangalore, India from June '07 - July '09, on System Software Development for Linux based Set Top Boxes.

I'm also a web development enthusiast interested in PHP, MySQL and Javascript. I have written few custom modifications for phpBB, myBB and Wordpress.

I love playing soccer, volleyball and also share a passion for Formula 1 and English Premier League.
