Mike GIBAS

Hi everybody!  I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University.

I expect to graduate in Spring Quarter 2008.

Teaching

TA: CSE772; Course Web Page; Office Hours: Tuesday: 2-3:30pm, Thursday 2:30-4pm, or by appt.

Research

I am working with Dr. Ferhatosmanoglu on efficiently accessing high-dimensional databases, enhancing database

support for scientific applications, providing efficient access for optimization queries, dealing with multi-dimensional

databases with missing data, and enhancing multi-dimensional indexing structures.
