9 Apr 2004 Here are Ted's notes from 5 Apr 2004.
5 Apr 2004 From Yang: The docs available on the web are pretty messy. 1. the docs under the "doc" diretory of sphinx homepage http://www.speech.cs.cmu.edu/sphinx/ are mainly about Sphinx I and II. No metioning of later versions at all. 2. there are some docs under the directory of personal webpages of Rita Singh, who leads the development of Sphinx IV currently. SphinxTrain docs are also availabe under it. The link is at: http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~rsingh/sphinxman/s3manual.html 3. I have roughly looked throught the files in the toolkit that I have downloaded and extracted, there are a few more doc files in .html format under "doc" subdir. However, the relevant file "s3.htm" contains info. in the style similar to Sonic manual and unfortunately, I cannot find a tutorial this time. 4. After roughly browsing through those docs, I find that the docs are not well organized as HTK, but do contain explainations and examples. So it is not too bad to start.
1 Apr 2004 From Soundar:
Hi all,
1 Apr 2004 I've put some notes from today's class on a page. Also, here is the original tandem paper, and, if you have time, a LVCSR tandem paper. |
