HW 2 is posted


I've posted HW2 for next Friday. If you run into questions (or, when you run into questions) make sure that you read the book first (either HAH section 6.5, or H&H chapter 10 (which is less helpful)) and the slides. But I do welcome questions.

Also: The "double squared" terms in the log spectrum equation I gave you were truly a bug (introduced by me late at night in preparing the lecture). I've corrected the slides and the practical.

Tuesday, January 17th

Change in plans


Since we have wireless in the classroom, I'm thinking of putting in a different practical rather than the "ASR Toolkits" discussion. SO: Thursday this week will need laptops. Thursday next week (after the quiz) we'll do the ASR toolkits discussion.
