01/09/2006: "For Thursday"

[EDIT 11Jan06:] You'll want to download the data for the cryptography tutorial from here.

Download the AT&T Finite State Machine Library. Use version 3.7 if you have windows, 4.0 if you have a mac or linux. There are some things that don't work in 3.7 (sorry!) but we'll try to work around them.

You will also want to download the Graphviz tools, which will help you visualize the FSMs.

You will also need the following:
1) A way to do command line entries
2) Perl (if you don't have it, then try ActivePerl)
3) A way to view postscript output (perhaps Ghostview)
