Welcome

Joe at the beach

I have been a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department since 2005 under the supervision of Dr. Jay Ramanathan.

My research interests include software engineering, design methodologies, computer supported cooperative work, human computer interaction, and services science. In other words, I like to focus on the human aspects involved in the design, construction, and support of innovative software products and business services.

My recent explorations include an examination into how software interface design can influence organizational governance processes in order to increase collective efficiency and organizational awareness without sacrificing usability.

You're welcome to read a little more about my research here or drop me a line.
