Get familiar with your lab computer
workstation. Document all the network connections, network drive
mappings and connection to printer.

Load all the Visual Studio software (takes 2
hours)

Load all the Microsoft Office and other
utilities, if necessary.

Load Alice or Virtual Family (or both) and
read the online tutorials. The CD-ROMs for VF are at your workstation;
the AliceInstall.exe (67.5MB) installation instructions are at
http://www.alice.org/downloads/authoringtool/
