Technological Resources Policy
Fixed resources
The
server and desktop PCs shall be permanently located in the SOC lab and
Caldwell 403, respectively. Underutilized resources may be
loaned to TWiCE partners, as available. Mobile resources A handheld PCs will be assigned to each provisional member, as available and as required by her project (research, community or industry). This assignment shall be considered a material loan for the duration of the probationary period. If the provisional member successfully completes all her negotiated milestones on time, then she shall either propose a new project or be assigned to an existing active project. On successful completion of the project, the member's loaned handheld device will transferred to her personal property.
Available resourcesHardware resources are provided by the computing infrastructure of the Department of Computer and Information Science. This consists of:
Software resources include proprietary applications such as MS Office, an integrated development environment like Visual Studio .Net, and Sharepoint collaboration site.
The
