CT Data

Original (right) and segmentation (left) using 24-neighborhood of 256 CT image of jaw bone from axial view. Result contains 42 regions.

MRI Data

Original and three segmentations of 256 MRI slice of the head varying neighborhood size. First result used 6-neighborhood and has 470 regions, second used 26-neighborhood and has 146 regions, and third used 24-neighborhood and has 10 regions.

3D MRI Data

3D reconstruction of a noisy 256 volume head. Brain and blood vessels were segmented using 124-neighborhood and visualized with a volume renderer. Top image shows a frontal view and the right image a side view. Blood vessels were the vessels were enhanced using an intravenous contrast agent.

Visible Human Cryosection Data

A typical Visible Human cryosection data showing nasal cavities and sinuses.

3D rendering of the sinuses. This dataset was segmented and rendered by Don Stredney from OSC.
