Tamal K. Day is a Professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at The Ohio State University. He received a PhD from Purdue University in 1991.

Dr. Dey's interests are in the areas of computer graphics and geometric modeling. His areas of research also include curve reconstruction and surface reconstruction.
