The Graphics research laboratory provides research facilities for any research related to computer graphics and visualization. The computing facilities include a 4 processor Origin 200, 4 SGI Octanes (including a dual 300 Mhz IP30 processor), 2 SGI )2’s, 4 SGI Indy’s, 4 PCs (including 2 dual processor machines), 4HP workstations and an X terminal. The PCs include 1 SGI Visual Workstation 320, 1 HP Visualizer and a Gateway system with an Nvidia TNT 2Ultra graphics accelerator. In addition, the laboratory also has color printers, and digital video editing equipment. Also, the laboratory is connected to the Ohio Supercomputer Center, the Network-Based Computing Research Laboratory and the Networking Lab through an ATM link.
