High Perfomance Computing and Software Lab

The High Performance Computing and Software Laboratory (HPCS) was initially established in 1993 at the University of Texas at San Antonio. It has provided a multidisciplinary research and education environment for faculty, Ph.D, M.S and undergraduate students, postdocs and visiting scholars to conduct extensive studies of modern computer systems and architectures, software environment and various large scientific applications. The facilities and research/education activities in the laboratory are mainly supported by Federal funding agencies and computer and communication industries. This is a detailed list of our former and current sponsors.

The HPCS Lab was moved to the College of William and Mary in 1997, and moved again to the Ohio State University in 2005.
