Karen Michaela-Rose Schleifer
I am a third year student at OSU and am double majoring in Spanish
and CIS. If I am not in class, at home studying, or working
on this research project, you can probably find me at
work. During the week I work as a manager at a
petstore and I spend my weekends teaching various workshops to children at COSI.

Research Interests:
I will graduate after 2 more years at OSU with a BS in CIS and a BA in
Spanish, and I will then attend graduate school. My current research interests are in computer graphics.
Current Projects:
- Specification Based GUI
This is my second year as a Europa member and I am working on my first
project with Patrick Coleman. Last year Patrick and I planned on using the GUI package SRGP (Simple Raster Graphics Package) to create a new GUI complete with specifications. However, SRGP has many limitations and we are now considering using QT, another graphics library, in place of SRGP.
