Ode To CSE560

Rising from the briny deep
where sinners cry and sulphur sleeps,
a demon by the name of Lab
arrived to slay fun being had.

Though sun is bright, and weather warm,
May as well be night, with heavy storm!
And heaven help if you have a date,
For Lab impales those who procrastinate;

Lab cries:
"This dark program will not write itself!
Grab pagan keyboard, let your fingers pelt
upon its dreary frame all day
and night as well, no time to play!

Stare deep into cunning display,
and it will help your hours away.
Turn up the thumping techno tracks,
repeating basslines will help you relax.

And soon the pain you feel will leave,
replaced by sweet insanity!
You'll no longer miss spring's season,
now that you've joined with hell's legion!"

Then foul demon began to laugh,
with such force and dark intent
that I knew I was beat -- and so I sighed,
changed majors, and went outside.
