Three Faculty Members Receive CoE Lumley Awards

At the 2005 College of Engineering Awards Ceremony, three of the Lumley Awards will go to CSE Faculty members. Receiving the awards are: Dr. DeLiang (Leon) Wang, Dr. James Davis and Dr. Srinivasan Parthasarathy.

The Lumley Research Award, established to promote and enhance research within CoE, is given to a select group of outstanding researchers who have shown exceptional acitivity and success pursuing knowlegdge within their fields.

All members of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering congratulate these superb researchers and agree with the sentiments of Chair Stu Zweben who said, "All were strong candidates, and I'm glad the awards committee agreed. Way to go!"
