The faculty, staff and students of Computer Science & Engineering would like to thank Dr. Stu Zweben for his ten years of service as chairperson. Dr. Stuart H. Zweben joined the Ohio State Computer & Information
Science Department (now named the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering)
in 1974 and became its chairperson twenty years later in October 1994.
He received his Masters (1971) and Ph.D. (1974) degrees from Purdue
University in 1974 after having received his Bachelors of Science
in Mathematics from City College of New York. He is a Fellow and former
president of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and former
president of the Computing Sciences Accreditation Board (CSAB). Currently
he serves on the Board of Directors of the Computing Research Association
(CRA) and on the editorial board of the Empirical Software Engineering
Journal.
