Course Description

This course is an intensive introduction to problem solving using business applications software.  The types of software applications that will be covered include communication, spreadsheets, databases, presentation graphics and web design.  The students will learn the mechanics of these software tools as they apply them to real world problems such as budgets, customer databases etc.  The overall objective of the course is to prepare students to be able to learn the features of business software tools and apply these tools in efficiently and effectively solving problems.

This is a 200 level class worth five credit hours. CS&E 200 lectures meet twice a week for 1 hour, 45 minutes. The labs meet once a week for 1 hour, 45 minutes. 

Prerequisites
Math 116, Math 130, or Math 148 Exclusion: Not open to students who have credit for CS&E101
