Secure SMTP with Remote Authentication
Beginning in Autumn Quarter 2006, SMTP traffic to the CSE mail server on port 25 will be blocked. In order to use the CSE mail server for SMTP from off campus, your mail client will need to use TLS on port 587 for remote authentication.
