The purpose of creating an ACM-W student chapter is to increase recruitment and retention of women in computing fields and the awareness of women leaders in computing.

For all those institutions that already offer informal programs with similar goals and activities, formalizing these groups into ACM-W chapters can provide additional resources and networking opportunities.

Ready to get started?  You'll need some students, a faculty sponsor and a charter.
