Student Poster Solicitation The SenSys '04 conference solicits posters that highlight recent and on-going research by students. The poster session will provide a forum for students to obtain feedback on ongoing research from knowledgeable conference attendees. Areas of interest are the same as those listed in the technical call for papers. While the poster need not describe completed work, it should report on research for which at least preliminary results are available. The first author of a poster submission must be a student. Poster proposals must be submitted as a single PDF file with no more than 3 pages. The first two pages should contain an abstract describing the research content of the poster, along with title, authors, institutional affiliations and contact information. The third page must contain a thumbnail draft of the poster's contents. The deadline for poster submissions is July 13, 2004. Submissions will be reviewed, and authors will be notified of acceptance by August 3. Two page poster abstracts will appear in the conference proceedings. Please submit your poster proposal PDF file as an email attachment to sensys04-poster-chairs@cse.msu.edu, with the subject line reading "Sensys Poster Submission" before the deadline. Any questions for the Student Poster Co-chairs Sandeep Kulkarni (Michigan State University) and Wendi Heinzelman (University of Rochester) may also be directed to this address. Basic Information about Posters If your poster proposal is accepted, you will have a chance to present the poster to interested attendees during the poster session at SenSys. A poster is an approximately 30" by 40" rectangular board on which you can put text and figures describing your research. You may choose to print out several sheets of paper, or a single large poster paper (these can be printed, for example, from PowerPoint files through document companies).
