The pictures here show the performance of the latest version of COCONE,
called Tight COCONE. For each dataset I have shown 3 snapshots.
- 1. How the reconstructed surface looks like when Tight COCONE
is applied.
- 2. The sharp corners, boundary, undersampled area or non-smoothness
in the dataset (if any)
- 3. How Tight Cocone performed in reconstructing the dataset
in those special regions
Note : The surface reconstructed is water-tight everywhere. The
red color shows the region of interest. The
green color signifies the non-manifold behavior on the surface.
The blue points are the isolated points
decided by the algorithm.
