Shansi Ren

I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University. My advisor is Professor Xiaodong Zhang. I am a member of HPCS lab. I received my B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1999, and my M.S. degree in Computer Science from the Bowling Green State University in 2001. Before joining The Ohio State University, I was a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at the College of William and Mary.
I am interested in research problems in the Internet, networking, distributed systems, and operating systems. My major research activities cover the following specific topics:
