Albert Hartono

My research area is compiler optimizations for scientific computing applications and high-performance computing systems.

 

I am currently working as a graduate research associate for Prof. Ponnuswamy Sadayappan in the High-Performance and Parallel Computing Research Group at Ohio State University. In this research group, I have been working on the Tensor Contraction Engine project. My work has been specifically focused on the operation minimization and the automatic performance tuning for tensor kernels.

 

I am also working as a graduate research co-op for Dr. Boyana Norris in the Laboratory for Advanced Numerical Simulations at the Argonne National Laboratory. The project is about  a performance annotations tool that aims at achieving productivity and performance in computational science applications.
